Ever Clean Rinse™
The Kinetico Ever Clean Rinse™ automatically cleans the reverse osmosis membrane to prevent contaminant build-up, bacteria build-up, and premature membrane failure. Due to Kinetico’s patented design, it is only available on the Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station. With the Ever Clean Rinse™, the K5 system, as well as the RO membrane, come with a 10-year full coverage warranty. You won’t find such comprehensive coverage on any other system
Filter Life Indicator
The K5 system incorporates a clever feature that monitors your water consumption, automatically shutting off after 500 gallons to prevent the risk of consuming contaminated water from overused filters. Additionally, a straightforward indicator keeps you informed about the remaining capacity, providing clear guidance on when it’s time to replace your filters.
Pre-Filter
The pre-filter system efficiently eliminates chlorine and chloramines from your water supply, ensuring a purer and safer drinking experience. It also effectively removes sediment particles as small as 1/16th the diameter of a human hair, safeguarding the system’s vital filter, the reverse osmosis membrane, from sediment buildup and deterioration caused by chlorine or chloramine exposure.
High Purity Module
The system meticulously eliminates traces of radiation, perchlorate, medications, and volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), ensuring the purity and safety of your drinking water. Additionally, the High Purity Module provides an optional enhancement that can be seamlessly integrated into the K5 Drinking Water Station, either during the initial installation process or at any later time, further enhancing the system’s capabilities to deliver pristine drinking water.
Reverse Osmosis Membrane
The reverse osmosis membrane stands as the cornerstone of filtration within the system, playing a pivotal role in eliminating contaminants. By forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane, it effectively removes 99.99% of viruses, bacteria, and protozoa/cysts, ensuring the utmost purity of your drinking water. Moreover, this critical filter removes up to 99% of various contaminants, including arsenic, barium, chromium, cadmium, aluminum, lead, bromate, chlorine, chloramines, copper, fluoride, MTBE, radium 226/228, mercury, trihalomethanes, haloacetic acids, and NDMA, safeguarding your health and well-being.
Mineral Plus Module
The system enriches ultra-pure water with essential minerals sourced from nature, enhancing its quality and health benefits. It produces alkaline water, which is known for its numerous advantages. Additionally, the optional Mineral Plus Module can be seamlessly integrated into the K5 Drinking Water Station, either during the initial setup or at a later time, offering flexibility and convenience. Post-Filter
The system is equipped with coconut shell carbon, which effectively eliminates any residual organic compounds that could potentially impart unpleasant taste or odor to the water, ensuring a refreshing and clean drinking experience.

The purified water undergoes storage in a designated tank until it is ready for use. Upon opening the drinking water faucet attached to the sink, the purified water is propelled either by air pressure or household water pressure through the post filter, providing a final polish before reaching the drinking water faucet. Importantly, the system operates efficiently, utilizing water solely during the tank-filling process. Once the tank reaches full capacity, the entire unit halts the inflow of water, ensuring optimal resource usage.

Quick Flo™ Tank
The Kinetico K5 system features a 3-gallon capacity tank, compact yet efficient for any kitchen space. With the optional Quick Flo tank, it ensures a consistent high flow rate using household water pressure, delivering water twice as fast as competitors while reducing waste by half. Made of durable fiberglass, it comes with a 10-year warranty and a life expectancy of up to 20 years. The Quick Flo tank can be added during installation or later. Its benefits include steady flow without drops, quick filling of large containers, and continuous water supply for cooking needs, making it convenient and versatile.

Independent Laboratory Certification
The K5 Drinking Water Station is tested and certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 58 for the reduction of claims specified on the Perfomance Data Sheet. Also conforms to CSA Standard B483.1-Drinking Water Treatment Systems (Refer to the Performance Data Sheet for individual contaminants and reduction performance).
When used in conjunction with an air charge tank and prefilter (Part Nos. 9309A or 9461A), the K5 Drinking Water Station equipped with the Purfecta Virus/Bacteria Guard cartridge is Tested and Certified by WQA against NSF P231-Microbiological Water Purifiers.
FlexFiltration Cartridges
The Kinetico K5 system is equipped with advanced filtration technology to ensure the highest quality drinking water. The Purefecta ® Guard removes an exceptional 99.99999% of bacteria and 99.99% of viruses, providing bio-pure water certified by trusted third-party regulators. The VOC Guard effectively eliminates volatile organic compounds found in water, including pesticides and cleaning supplies.
For added protection, the Arsenic Guard targets higher levels of arsenic, while the Perchlorate Guard addresses perchlorate, a byproduct of certain manufacturing processes known to affect thyroid health. Additionally, the Chloramine Guard reduces chloramine levels in municipal water sources. The Mineral Plus cartridge allows you to enhance your water with beneficial minerals like magnesium and calcium. Please note that while these cartridges are not WQA tested and certified, they provide essential additional layers of filtration for your peace of mind.
