KINETICO K5 Post-Filter
- Filled with coconut shell carbon that removes any few remaining organic compounds that might otherwise cause foul taste or odor
- The purified water is stored in a storage tank until it is needed. When the drinking water faucet mounted on the sink is opened, the purified water is forced by air pressure or by the household water pressure through the post filter, which gives it a final polish and from there to the drinking water faucet
- The system uses water only while it’s filling its storage tank. When the tank is full, the whole unit stops the inflow of water

The K5 Drinking Water Station is tested and certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 58 for the reduction of claims specified on the Perfomance Data Sheet. Also conforms to CSA Standard B483.1-Drinking Water Treatment Systems (Refer to the Performance Data Sheet for individual contaminants and reduction performance).
When used in conjunction with an air charge tank and prefilter (Part Nos. 9309A or 9461A), the K5 Drinking Water Station equipped with the Purfecta Virus/Bacteria Guard cartridge is Tested and Certified by WQA against NSF P231-Microbiological Water Purifiers.
